Day 4: Tangier/Chefchaouen /Fes
After breakfast, departure to explore Chefchaouen, the « Blue City », a city high in the mountains of Morocco remained shut off from the world for almost 500 years. Now its labyrinthine streets decked in shades of blue are open to visitors. It’s famous for its shrines and history. The visit includes, Uta Hammam, the Kasbah, the great Mosque ( an exterior visit), the Medina, a moment of relaxation in «Ras El Maa» the source of water one of the prettiest places in Chechaouen. Independent lunch, continuation to Fes, dinner & overnight.
Day 5 : Fez :
The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez; the most ancient cultural and spiritual city of Morocco. Visit of the medieval medina, the Medersas, the Karaouine mosque the famous Nejjarine fountain and Medersa Bouanania. Independent lunch and continuation of the visit through the old medina where the clients will see different craftsmen still operating in the old oriental tradition Fes El Jdid & « the Jewish district ». Return to the hotel; independent dinner overnight.
Day 6 : Fez / Midelt / Erfoud/Merzouga
Departure to Midelt via Azrou. Independent lunch. Continuation through Midelt, Ziz River and series of fortified villages. Arrival in Erfoud . It’s where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. Erfoud is very known by fossils & dates, change the vehicle to a 4X4 WD Land cruiser to go through the desert to stay under a deluxe tent in Merzouga. Camel ride to attend the sunset, Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 : Merzouga/Erfoud / Tineghir/Boumalne/Ouarzazate/marrakech :
Departure to Tineghir via Rissani. Heading to Tinghir via Rissani with a Visit of the ruins of Ksar Abbar and through the Tinjdad road, then the Todra Gorges which is situated on the remote east side of the High Atlas Mountains. The gorge has carved out cliff-sided canyons on the final 40 km through the mountains. The final 600 m of the Todra gorge are the most spectacular as the canyon narrows to a flat stony track as little as 10m wide in places with sheer and smooth rock walls up to 160 m high on each side. The rock face changes colour during the day, ranging from a rosy red to a dull tan. Independent lunch, Continuation to Ouarzazate via Kalaa Mgouna in the valley of the roses which provide some of the most spectacular scenery of the south. This is a fertile valley where roses bloom in profusion in the Skoura oasis and where a large part of Morocco's rose and rose water production occurs. Arrival to Ouarzazate : Visit of Ouarzazate including the Kasbah of Taourirt then continuation to Marrakech via Kasbah Ait Benhaddou; one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient Route of the Kasbahs and the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco; which has served as decor for many films like & Laurence of Arabia& “Jesus of Nazareth” and “Game of Thrones” among many others. Continuation to Marrakech, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Atlas Asni.
Day 8 : Marrakesh :
Today we explore Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city known as the “Pearl of the South” including , the Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs. Independent lunch. In the afternoon , a visit of the Majorelle Gardens also called Yves St Laurent gardens there will be a tour to the ancient walls of red surrounding Marrakech , then head to the palm grove , about 150,000 trees , which extends over 12,000 hectares . Later , a visit to the souks , the winding streets and the Place Djemaa El Fna with its magical atmosphere and non-stop entertainment: storytellers, snake charmers , fire-eaters and more. Return to the hotel overnight.
Day 9 : Casablanca Airport:
After Early breakfast, departure transfer to Marrakech airport for return flight and assistance to the boarding formalities.
